I’m sharing what I use for my current skin care regime! I have cut down on the amount of skin care products I use at one time. I think before I was overdoing it with different type of serums. This isn’t a full review! I can say that I love each one of these products! I am currently using a majority of Estee Lauder products, and an eye cream from Lancome. I previously was using SK-II, Lancome and Kiehl’s products. I just recently replaced the Lancome Absolue Premium ßx Reconstituante moisturizer with Estee Lauder’s Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant Creme. And for night I am using the Estee Lauder Time Zone Night Creme. I love Estee Lauder’s formulas! They soak into the skin faster than others, and I never have any problems with applying make up after.
The pictures are posted in order of what I use first on my skin. Read a quick review for each product under the picture.
Love this toner – Silky Hydrating Lotion. It feels smooth when applying – I always use a cotton pad to apply a toner. It doesn’t have that tightening feeling like some toners does – it is alcohol free. It leaves my skin feeling soft and clean! It is hydrating, but toners in general can’t hydrate the skin enough on itself – Keep that in mind girls.. I’ve come across some bloggers that think a toner is enough. I will continue to purchase this toner, unless I find another toner I want to try. I think I’ve already gone through 20+ toners within a year. Oh and I LOVE how this is a huge bottle!
This serum – Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher – I am very familiar with! This is my third bottle. I love it! I really love Estee Lauder repair serums. I haven’t tried them all. So far I have tried the Idealist (green), the Hydrationist (blue), and Advanced Night Repair (brown). I really suggest giving a repair serum from Estee Lauder a go. They have different repair serums for different skin types/issues. I will continue to use this product throughout the summer! But I think after the summer I will give Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator a go.
I apply it directly to my face – once on my forehead and on both cheeks, and then I just glide it around and into my skin. It’s really soft, and I love the way it makes my skin feel – hydrated and silky. It doesn’t minimize my pores really, but somehow my skin looks better.
These are new additions. I have never tried or sampled them before, but I decided to give them a go. I will start off by saying, I don’t have wrinkles! But I want to use anti-wrinkle moisturizers to prevent wrinkles.
The Daywear Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant Creme is amazing! They have dry and for normal/combo, the one I bought is for dry skin. It’s really hydrating, and it smells so good – like aloe vera. It glides onto my skin, and it feels great. It does give off a shine, but I’ll positively say it gives off a glow. Though I do use primer after I let it set in. They do have an oil-free one if you’re worried. I think this one is going to stay in my regime for a long while! BTW it was chosen by Allure for best moisturizer for dry skin 2011.
This one, Time Zone Night Anti-Line/Wrinkle Creme, claims to make your skin younger, and reduce fine lines, etc. Like most anti-wrinkle creams say. I don’t have any wrinkles really to see a difference. But I’m using it to prevent. I love the formula, and the smell. When I use this with the Advanced Night Repair serum (not pictured), my skin looks really great when I wake up.
Lancome’s Génifique Yeux Youth Activating Concentrate! This is a sample size, I got it with a Lancome mascara & eye make up remover set. I haven’t tried this eye concentrate/cream before – I seem to be always displeased with eye creams, and I’m glad I got this in a miniature size instead. I don’t know if it’s good? To be honest I haven’t noticed a difference in my eyes.. Maybe my eyes look a little brighter, but who knows! I am looking for a really good eye cream, so if you know one, please do share.
