I love cleansing waters, I used to like oils, but once I switched to waters, it’s just so much easier to use! It’s an all in one cleanser, for face, eyes and lips. And Lancome’s express cleansing water removes my make up even mascara and eyeliner great. There is sometimes a little mascara smudge left over, but after washing my face, it all goes off anyway.
Another cleansing water I like is Clarins Water Comfort One Step Cleanser, but I like Lancome’s better because it doesn’t have this smell Clarins has. Also when I get the Clarins one on my lips, it has this weird taste but Lancome doesn’t. Plus I love the easy pump on Lancome. So easy to use and no worry about spilling. (Shall do a post on the Clarins one another time!)
How to use Lancome’s cleansing water or any other cleansing water? Just use a cotton pad with it and wipe away.
Love the pump! No spill and easy to use.
I do sometimes switch it up and use a make up tissue remover, or cleansing cream. But if I had to choose just one I would choose a cleansing water, it removes, feels nice, no mess, and you can it use it on your eyes as well.
I bought this one here in Norway for 250 kr ($44). I don’t know how much it costs other places. But if you live in Norway, you can buy it on Blush.no just for 182 kr. And for the 400 ML, 246 kr.
Hola chicas! I’m sharing with you my favorite loose powder ever! I use this everyday to set my foundation, and I will forever to use this! Or until they stop producing it. I love loose powders! I do have compact powders, but I never use them! I do still love Chanel Poudre Compacte Universelle and I carry that around with me. Though I never need touch ups.. But going back to this loose powder, you will love it! It’s matte but leaves a slight glow. Perfect!
The loose powder comes with a small brush. I have used the brush a few times, and it works fine. A little small though. I guess it’s good for travel.
Today I’m sharing with you my up to date skin care daily regime! I have 3 new additions to my daily regime. If you remember my past skin care routine post, My Skin Care Regime with Estee Lauder & Lancome, then you’ll know I love Estee Lauder! Their formula works very well with my skin. I am still using the Estee Lauder Silky Hydrating Lotion (on my second bottle, almost finished though!), and the Estee Lauder Time Zone Night Anti-Line/Wrinkle Creme (also on second tub! this is my favorite night cream).
But I’ll introduce you the new additions!
I replaced my green Estee Lauder serum with the Estee Lauder Even Skintone Illuminator serum. I replaced my Estee Lauder Daywear Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant Creme with Chanel Hydramax + Active Active Moisture Gel Cream. After my day gel cream, I now use La Prairie Cellular Treatment Gold Illusion Line Filler.
I am loving all the new additions. The only one I will not repurchase is the Chanel gel cream. I know winter is around the corner, and a gel cream is better for summer. But since I was using the La Prairie Cellular Treatment Gold Illusion Line Filler after a moisturizer, I thought I would try a gel cream. Plus I use Sensai water primer which is so hydrating. I might try another day cream from Sensai after the Chanel, but I kind of miss using the Estee Lauder day cream. It’s so nice. hehe.
After toner, I use Estee Lauder Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator.
It’s a light cream color with shimmer/pearl glow.
I love the effect it has on the skin. Unfortunately it doesn’t show after applying make up.
After toner and serum, I apply Chanel Hydramax+ Active Gel Cream.
It smells nice and I like the gel cream. It is hydrating, but not very much compared to other hydrating creams I have tried. Better suited for humid countries or summers!
After toner, serum, gel cream, I apply La Prairie Cellular Treatment Gold Illusion Line Filler.
I’ve been using it like a primer, but I sometimes do use Sensai water primer on top of that. The gold isn’t visible after applying make up. But without make up, my skin looks very pretty! It is a bit pricey, $225, just for a “primer”. But hey! I like what I want/I want what I like. I am going to continue to repurchase it! Because if you know me, you know I love “glow” and “gold”.
From their website: This glamorous, gold-infused potion performs a disappearing act on lines and wrinkles, while filling the lines and wrinkles, giving your skin a look of perfection plus a golden glow.
Formulated with a blend of easily absorbed, line-blurring ingredients, it instantly “erases” imperfections, producing smooth, radiant, line reduced skin.
Tiny, expandable wrinkle-filling spheres, complemented by intense moisturizing action, provide additional, long-lasting re-plumping. A rich infusion of vitamins and anti-oxidants nourish and protect the skin.
I know I am missing an eye cream! I was using Estee Lauder Idealist Cooling Eye Illuminator. Unfortunately! I freakn cannot find it!! I have to replace it (with something else). But I am using Yves Saint Laurent Touche Express Flash Touch Wake-Up Eyecare in the mornings, to help with my eyelid puffiness. I am going to shop for a new eye cream, I think I’m going to get Sensai! I will post it sometime after purchasing new one and let you know how it goes. Eye creams are so hard to choose! In my opinion, they don’t do much for me.
If you have puffy eye lids like I do most mornings (I sleep too much), try using YSL Touche Express Flash Touch Wake-Up Eyecare. It’s worked for me with puffy eyelids.
I do also occasionally use Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate Oil for night. I love this oil! My skin looks really nice next morning. I have to repurchase again because I only have maybe a few weeks left on it.
If you were wondering, all the products in this post works great with make up. Except the Midnight Recovery Concentrate Oil, it’s for night anyway! Well I haven’t tried using make up on top of it anyway. haha. Alright dolls, that’s it for now! I’m going to relax and watch some tv!
with Skinfood Black Sesame Hot Mask & Beauty Friends essence sheet masks
I haven’t been blogging so much about my skin care, which is a bit odd, since more than make up, I’m obsessed with skin care. In Korea I was so obsessed with my skin, every day I was doing some sort of treatment for it. But overdoing it doesn’t help. Now I do masks about 2~3 times a week. From sheet masks, gel masks, wash off masks, scrubs and peeling gels. I like my pores clean and want my skin glowing.
I do a scrub and/or peeling gel once or max twice a week. For the past couple weeks I’ve been using the Skinfood Black Sesame Hot Mask as a scrub, and for peeling gel I’ve been using Skinfood Royal Honey Mask. But today I’m sharing or showing you the Black Sesame Hot Mask. After a scrub/peeling gel, I always follow up with an essence sheet mask or a gel mask. I use sheet/gel masks much more often than doing a scrub or peeling gel. You can use sheet masks every day if you’d like, but I’d recommend 3 times a week.
BBCREAMSHOP.EU sent me the Skinfood Black Sesame Hot Mask, a Beauty Friends sheet mask, and several BB Cream samples, for review purposes.
BBCREAMSHOP.EU is an online shop based in the Netherlands. Like their name states, they sell Korean bb creams, and skin care products as well as make up. From brands like Skin79, Etude House, Skinfood, Lioele, Innisfree, Hanskin, and much more! The shipping was insanely fast! I would have received the package the day after they shipped it out, but I wasn’t home, and received it the day after that. So it took 2 days, but I could have received it the very next day. Super fast! If you live in Europe and you love Korean products, I’d suggest checking out BBCREAMSHOP.EU! and for English version go to: BBCREAMSHOP.CO.UK

There are more than 3 steps really. No worries, I’ll be getting into detail.
Step One. Pretty explanatory, cleanse your face with your preferred facial wash.
Step Two. Scrub away! The Black Sesame Hot Mask is a good scrub, it does what any scrub does. My skin is smooth after, and I even noticed the blackheads (where did they come from!!??) that I’ve been getting disappear significantly. Not perfectly, but enough to notice. This is my second “hot” mask that I’ve ever tried. The first one I tried and loved was from Elishacoy (I think) and it was a pumpkin enzyme heating mask. I really loved it and can’t wait to get my hands on more. It wasn’t a scrub like this one really, the pumpkin one was more of hydrating mask that gives glow to your skin. So if you’re looking for more of a scrub, give Black Sesame Hot Mask a go.
After I massage for about 5 minutes, instead of just washing it off. I use a facial sponge to remove the scrub bits and help cleanse my face. Sensai’s facial sponge is absolutely my favorite! You can use a regular facial sponge, but what’s great about Sensai’s is that it’s not the usual sponge shape or material. It’s flat and very big in size, and works like a cloth. It’s very easy to maintain, just wash it after with a bit of soap and warm water. With regular facial sponges, they aren’t as easy to wash and have to be replaced very often. (No thanks to bacteria!) But Sensai’s is very washable.
Step Three. I use a sheet mask or a gel mask after a scrub. I do wipe my face with toner + cotton pad before applying a sheet mask though. Beauty Friends’ sheet masks are decent/good sheet masks. To be honest, I’ve never been 100% wowed by sheet masks. But Beauty Friends’ has SO MANY types to choose from. My favorites are the pomegranate, raspberry and cereal. You can find a mask to cater to your skin trouble/needs.
Step Four. After you remove the sheet mask (15~20 minutes – don’t go over or it’ll dry out your skin as the mask is drying), pat the essence that’s left on your skin in. Then continue with rest of your skin care regime (serums, moisturizers, eye creams, etc).

Blaaaaaack sesame! I love eating sesame seeds. I know they’re beneficial to the body, but I haven’t heard of sesame or black sesame being beneficial to the skin. After a quick research (aka google), turns out sesame and black sesames are really beneficial to the skin. Like I said already, the Black Sesame Hot Mask is a good scrub, it does what a scrub should do, and it left my skin feeling smooth and clean. Also, I noticed my blackheads minimized. I’ve been using this mask scrub about 4 times within the past 2 weeks. I am going to continue to use it.
The smell of it isn’t great, but it doesn’t smell bad at all. It just doesn’t smell amazing. I can’t place the smell, maybe slightly sesame seed? I really love Skinfood products! Check out the Black Sesame Hot Mask product on BBCREAMSHOP.EU’s page.
On the left is the one BBCREAMSHOP.EU sent me. And on the right is what I already have. The one on the left is the newest packaging from Beauty Friends. The one I have is from last year’s packaging. The only difference besides the appearance of the packaging is that the newest one is 2 grams more.
Like I said there are tons of different essences you can choose from. Like vitamin, cereal, raspberry, pomegranate, royal jelly, collagen, pearl, etc. You can check out BBCREAMSHOP’s page and there’s a list of the types they have available and it explains what each one benefits your skin.
