I’ve been busy with getting ready for summer. I have been keeping up at working out. I think in the last 8 or 9 days, I only rested two days. I didn’t want to even rest the 2nd time, but my husband told me that I had to stay home that afternoon. Surprise flower delivery (Picture below!)
I haven’t been tanning all winter, except once? But I went tanning twice in the last month. It’s amazing how dark I get from just one tanning session. When I was younger, I loathed it, but now I know I’m lucky. But my facial skin isn’t looking so fab! As tanning does that. Freckles trying to pop out!
I haven’t checked my weight since I’ve started training, I don’t want to either. I don’t feel like I’ve lost anything, it’s too soon anyway. But I do feel SO MUCH BETTER. I forgot what it’s like to work out everyday and feel proud. Eating healthy is another battle though. I have been better on not eating so much junk. But I allow myself the occasional brownie, cinnamon rolls, burgers, and like today a bunch of PEZ. And I still do midnight snacking, as night time is when I seem to be always hungry! Plus I’m married and when my husband is home, who loves junk food, it’s hard not to resist. Oh well, I’ll just have to train harder so I can eat what I want!
I’ve never liked flowers. But ever since I got married, I do now!
Alright, I’m going to finish watching Charmed on netflix. Yes, that old show with the 3 witches. I’ve already seen it when I was younger, but why not again!
I am ready for summer!!! PLEASE WINTER, GO AWAY. The days are getting longer, and just when I thought the temperature was getting warmer, and hopefully thinking spring is just around the corner. IT STARTS SNOWING AGAIN! AGH! Well, at least I can get a little joy and try out dresses I can’t wait to wear soon!
So in preparation for this summer, I’ve started working out again. This time I must keep at it though! My sister in law and I are now in competition, a friendly sisterly competition! Started March 17th, and in 2 months, on May 17th, we will do a final weigh in. And whoever has lost the most weight, wins! Money! And GLORY!
I shouldn’t be enjoying my kanelbollers and a cup of hot O’boy right now, but I had a good work out today and I deserve some sugar.
I’ve decided to cut all the junk out of my life. No more coca cola and solo, and insane amount of red bull and burn. I’m not cutting out white rice and pasta. Because I love starch and my body craves it too much. I am also going to indulge in the occasional red bull or a glass of a coke. I’m not trying to go on a diet. I love food way too much. Plus it’s difficult to go on a diet when you’re cooking for two. I’m just going to try to eat more in moderation, instead of starving myself all day (I really don’t have an appetite during the day though), and then eat like crazy at night. I’m going to force myself to eat brunch. I say brunch because I’m never awake to eat at the time most people have breakfast.
So really I’m not changing what I consume so much, just better moderation. Less junk, and more smaller meals. And drink more water!! Since W doesn’t like fish at all or any seafood really, I don’t eat fish anymore. So I’m starting to take Omega supplements. I’ve always had taken vitamins and omega supplements, but I hate taking pills, and I always forget! So from now on the first thing I do when I wake up is to drink a glass of water and take my supplements.
Kim bap for dinner past two days. I love rolls! Tonight I’m eating cucumber-egg-crab meat roll while watching Dexter.
I’m not hoping to loose weight, just to keep from gaining weight this upcoming winter! I think it’s fine to eat pizza, fried foods, etc. Just in moderation! I’ve never liked eating cookies or snacks till after I met W. He loves his junk food! haha. He eats potato chips all the time! Thank god I don’t like potato chips and dip. But I’ve started to really like oreo’s and the chocolate chip cookies I’m really good at baking. So I’m going to allow myself to eat junk snacks like that on the weekends. I’ll let you know how this better moderation thing goes. But for those who want to try better moderation and loose weight in the process. Figure out how much calories your body burns a day, and eat how ever much less calories from that.

Question: Hi shika sarang. what primers do you recommend for oily/normal skin?
My answer: Well I have normal/dry skin, so I guess the primers I use wouldn’t work for you. But I did have two primers that I absolutely loved when I was in Korea. (Very humid summmers!) I used YSL Matt Touch Radiant Base Colour Balance Primer (oil free) and Banila Co primers! I actually recommend the Banila Co primers more. Even my MUA in Korea used Banila Co primers. Banila Co is a Korean brand and they have different primers to suit normal/dry/oily skin. If you live outside Korea, you could try gmarket. Or Colorfulcircle.com, here’s the link to Banila Co base make up they have. There’s 5 primers on that page, I’d recommend Classic or Classic Matte.

My answer: I’ve been using La Prairie Cellular Treatment Gold Illusion Line Filler everyday lately & or Dior Skinflash primer. A foundation I’ve been using almost everyday is Lancome Teint Idole Ultra. And I’ve been using Dior Nude Natural glow loose powder everyday!
