Hey dolls.

Like the new layout/theme? I know, once again a header with images of me and Nomi. But when I use other images, I get too uninspired while making it, and end up clicking delete. Plus this is my personal & beauty blog, so using other images of whatever isn’t suiting. I must say, this is not what I had in mind.. but if you know about coding, then you know how much of a bitch it can be!!! So I said a big fuck you, and just edited the CSS I used on my last theme.

Coding these days isn’t easy. You’ve got different resolutions, and different browsers. Also, you’ve got people using their phones, or ipad. (Luckily for iphone and ipad, Safari is very forgiving when it comes coding). I do check my site stats, and I notice half of you dolls use INTERNET EXPLORER. OMG, THE ABSOLUTE WORST! Internet Explorer is only good for downloading Firefox & Chrome.

GOOGLE CHROME! The speed is super fast compared to IE & Firefox. Also the screen length is a bit longer. And all my coding worked perfectly. Minus one little detail – that my header won’t start at top 0 px. But that’s alright. I’ll fix it later.

I give you 5 stars Chrome.

Now onto..

MOZILLA FIREFOX! Takes longer than Chrome to load. But that’s alright. Because my coding worked perfectly. Thank you firefox. I give you 4.5 stars, minus .5 for speed!

Now.. our enemy..

Internet Explorer! AGH! WTF?! Not only is speed slower than Chrome, but MAJOR CODING DOESN’T WORK! My navigation doesn’t work properly, and where is all my background color! Also my font size is off!! HUH! I give you 0 stars IE. SO PLEASE EVERYONE, DOWNLOAD CHROME OR FIREFOX.

I personally like Google Chrome much better, ’cause it’s so fast. I use firefox at other times. The only times I use IE, is when I’m doing internet shopping, and the site security stuff only works on IE. So please do yourself a favor, use firefox, chrome or safari. Also, my site will look much better if you do so.

Alright. Now onto my tips for bloggers. ‘Cause some of you dolls seriously need it. I’ve seen a few shit or ghetto sites, and I instantly click ‘X’.

NO TINY PICTURES. Seriously! And especially if you’re a beauty blogger. Also, don’t use mobile pictures to take pics of your beauty products. SMH. I recommend having larger pictures, it’s easy to look at. Also, try to keep the pictures in one post the same size. On my blog, I keep my photos the same size, except my mobile & cam pictures.

NO WEIRD CURSIVE FONT. I don’t give a shit if you think it’s pretty. It’s not easy on the eyes. Keep it clean, and easy to read.

NO HUGE FONT. Please. I haven’t seen tiny font yet, but I have seen HUGE TOO FUGLY TO READ FONT. And once again I instantly click ‘X’.

KEEP IT CLEAN. I know the temptation to throw on a bunch of stuff onto your sidebars. But if it’s too much, it’s too messy. And I don’t wanna look. Also, the worst if you expect people to find stuff on your blog.

NO MESSY BACKGROUNDS. OMG! KEEP YOUR BACKGROUND SOMETHING EASY ON THE EYES. PLEASE. If its some crazy print/pictures etc as a background, IT LOOKS TACKY. And it’s hard to focus on your posts.

target=”_blank” < What is this? If you don't recognize it, then you're obviously not using it. SO YOU MUST NOW. When you're linking other sites, you want your readers to open those sites in a new window. There are a few times where I’m on other people’s blogs, and I see some interesting link and I click away, and click away some more. Then I forget about their blog. And I can’t go back. You could loose some readers this way.. maybe. so yeah add target=”_blank” into your < a href="http://" > < /a>

NO ‘READ MORE’ cut offs. If I’m new to your site, I really don’t bother to “Read More”. I don’t know you, I don’t know if you’re entries are that good. I don’t want to waste a second it takes to click on “Read More”. Only use ‘Read More’ if you’re entry is way too long, or be smart about it, and use it where you already know you’ve got your readers attention.

BROKEN LINKS ARE EFFIN ANNOYING.

BROKEN IMAGES ARE VILE TO THE EYES.

NO CRAZY COLORS EVERYWHERE.

DO SHOW YOUR PERSONALITY.

Alright, that’s all I can think of for now.

I was going to post some examples of the SHITTY ASS BLOGS I’ve seen so far. But I can’t remember any of their names.
